Apollo ID was built to empower both everyday consumers and venues through their data. We’re former hospitality workers and devoted patrons of venues ourselves. We wouldn’t be here without you, so know that your privacy is our highest priority. The Terms of Service is set out to protect our company, the venues we partner with, and ultimately, you, the end user.
Apollo ID is operated by Apollo Technology Platform, Incorporated (“Apollo ID”, “Apollo”, “Apollo Platform”, “Apollo HQ”, “Apollo Promoter App”, “Apollo Partner App”, “Apollo App”, "us", "we", or "our"). Apollo ID operates certain services (the “Services”), which include but are not limited to the mobile applications, website(s), QR codes, spreadsheets, scripts, customer databases and related third party platforms (collectively, the “Platform”).
The terms “You” or “Your” refer to You, the user(s) of the Platform, regardless of whether you are a sole natural person, or using the Platform jointly with another person or people, or as an entity.
1. General
This Privacy Policy applies to the data collected by Apollo, or those working on our behalf, through information you provide or we acquire from authorized and approved third parties.
By using or accessing our Platform in any manner, you acknowledge that you accept the practices and policies described in this Privacy Policy, and you hereby consent to our collection, use and sharing of your information as described herein. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, you may choose not to use our Platform.
We use your data to provide and improve the Services we offer and work with our Venue Partners and General Partners (Consumer Brands, Liquor, Spirits and Beverage Brands etc), which include but are not limited to the restaurants, bars, lounges, cafes, hotels, nightclubs and other hospitality and retail venues we partner with. By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used here have the same meanings as in our Terms of Service.
This Privacy Policy covers Apollo’s treatment of personally identifiable information. This is information which may be connected to you specifically as the individual to whom the information relates. Such information may include your full name, mailing address, email address, social media profile(s) and/or telephone number, either alone or in combination with other information. Personal information can also include information about you that is available on the internet, such as from social networking sites, or publicly available information acquired from service providers and third parties (collectively, “Personal Information”).
We are not responsible for the practices of any third party sites linked to on our Platform, and you are advised to review their rules and policies before using any of such sites or providing them with any private information.
2. Information We Collect from You
Apollo collects several types of information from and about users, including unique information (the“Personal Information”) about you that you may provide.
We collect information that you provide to us through what you provide on the onboarding process and from you filling in forms on our Platform. This includes information provided at the time of your registering to use our Platform and updates in your profile. We may also ask you for information when you report a problem with our Platform.
The following are other examples of information, without limitation, which you may provide to Apollo:
records and copies of your correspondence (including email addresses), if you contact us.
your responses to surveys that we might ask you to complete for research purposes.
details of transactions you carry out through our Platform and of the fulfillment of your orders. You may be required to provide financial information before placing an order through our Platform.
your search queries on our Platform.
identity data, which includes your full name, birthday, gender, marketing preferences, and other similar identifiers.
contact tracing data, which may include location data, email address and phone numbers.
location data, which may include your zip code, home address, building name, venue that you’re visiting/visited
time-related data, which includes details about your check in time, venue and date.
technical data, which includes internet protocol (IP) address, location data, your login data, and device and browser information.
profile data, which includes your general (music, ambiance etc) and dining interests, food and drink related allergies, specific and general preferences, aggregate transactions, spending habits, brand loyalties etc.
usage data, which includes information about how you use our Services and partner sites.
marketing and communications data, which includes your preferences in receiving marketing and push notifications.
general data, which includes notes and tags added about Members/users that travel with each individual or pertaining to the venue only.
social data, which includes friend(s) and/or coworker(s) and known associations.
You also may provide information to be published or displayed (hereinafter, “posted”) on public areas of the Platform, or transmitted to other users of the Platform or third parties (collectively, “User Content”).
Your User Content is posted on and transmitted to others at your own risk. Apollo cannot control the actions of other users of the Platform with whom you may choose to share your User Content.
Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee that your User Content will not be viewed by unauthorized persons.
We collect information that you provide to us automatically as you navigate through and interact with our Platform. During such navigation, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions and patterns, including:
details of your visits to our Platform, including, but not limited to, traffic data, geolocation data, logs and other communication data and the resources that you access and use on the Platform.
information about your computer and internet connection, including your internet protocol address, operating system and browser type.
The information Apollo collects automatically is statistical data and may include Personal Information, but we may maintain it or associate it with Personal Information we collect in other ways or receive from third parties. We do this because it helps us to improve our Platform and to deliver a better and more personalized experience for users like you.
You agree and acknowledge that we may store Personal Information and other data on servers provided by third party hosting vendors with whom we have contracted.
3. Third-Party Links and Social Networking Services
The Services may include links to third-parties including websites, plug-ins and applications. By clicking on those links or enabling those connections may allow third parties to collect and/or share data about you. Apollo does not control these third-party websites and are not responsible for their privacy policies. When you leave our Services, we encourage you to read the privacy policy of every website you visit.
The Services may integrate with social networking services. We do not control such services and are not liable for the way they operate and/or process data. While we may provide you with the ability to use such services in connection with our Services, we are relying upon those third-party services to operate in line with their terms and conditions and privacy policies.
You should be aware that information which you voluntarily include and transmit online in a publicly-accessible forum (e.g., website, social network) may be viewed and used by others. We are unable to control such uses of your information, and by using such services you acknowledge that the information provided by you may be viewed and used by third parties.
4. How We May Use Your Information
We may use information you submit to the Platform available to our venue partners and brand partners to help them provide a better level of service to you. We may also share data at an aggregate level with our venue partners and brand partners in an effort to help them with their marketing and loyalty programs to enhance your experiences. If we do this, our venue partners and brand partners will be bound to us by obligations of confidentiality.
Apollo also uses such personal information we collect to provide and improve the Service; customize the Service for you; better understand our users; develop new products and services; communicate with you about the Service and our other products and services we think may interest you; enforce our rights; and diagnose and fix problems with the Service.
Apollo may share your Personal Information with third parties for the purpose of improving our Platform. If we do this, such third parties’ use of your Personal Information will be subject to obligations of confidentiality.
We may store Personal Information in locations outside our direct control (for instance, on servers or databases located or co-located with hosting providers). Any Personal Information or content that you voluntarily disclose for posting to the Platform becomes available to the public, as controlled by any applicable privacy or website customization settings made by you. To change your privacy settings on the Platform, you may visit your account settings page on the Platform. If you remove information that you posted to the Platform, copies may remain viewable in cached and archived pages of the Platform, or if other users have copied or saved that information.
If Apollo, undergoes a Change of Control (as defined herein) the Personal Information may become an asset of such a transaction. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of Apollo may continue to use the Personal Information as set forth in this policy. As used herein, “Change of Control” means (i) a consolidation or merger of Apollo with or into any other corporation or other entity or person, or any other corporate reorganization, other than any such consolidation, merger or reorganization in which the shares of capital stock of Apollo immediately prior to such consolidation, merger or reorganization, continue to represent a majority of the voting power of the surviving entity immediately after such consolidation, merger or reorganization; (ii) any transaction or series of related transactions to which Apollo is a party in which in excess of 50% of Apollo’s voting power is transferred; or (iii) the sale or transfer of all or substantially all of the Apollo’s assets, or the exclusive license of all or substantially all of Apollo’s material intellectual property; provided that a Change of Control shall not include any transaction or series of transactions principally for bona fide equity financing purposes in which cash is received by Apollo or any successor, indebtedness of Apollo is canceled, or converted or a combination thereof.
We may also use your information for any other purpose with your consent.
5. Cookies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our Services and hold certain information with and for venues and brands we work and partner with. Cookies are files with small amounts of data which may include an anonymous unique identifier to help our Services function properly and effectively. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your device.
Tracking technologies also used are beacons, tags, and scripts to collect and track information and to improve and analyze our Services. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Service.
Third-party vendors or sties that you may reach from the Platform may also use cookies to serve ads based on a user's past visits to our Site.
6. Consent to Contact You
By providing us with your email address (including by “following”, “liking” or linking your account to our Platform on a third party site or network) and/or phone number, you consent to our using the email address and/or phone number to send you Platform-related notices, including any notices required by law, in lieu of communication by postal mail. You also agree that we may send you notifications of activity on our Platform to the email address and/or phone number you give us, in accordance with any applicable privacy settings. Apollo may use your email address and/or phone number to send you other messages, such as newsletters, changes to features of our Platform or other information. If you do not want to receive such email messages and/or text messages by phone, you may opt out of them by unsubscribing from them. To do this, please email us as hello@getapollo.in.
In the U.S., if you consent to receive SMS (text messages) from us and/or our partner venues, Apollo ID will not charge you any extra fees for the text messaging; however, standard message and data rates may apply according to your wireless rate plan. Contact your carrier for pricing plans and details.
7. Deactivation of Your Account
If you wish, we will deactivate your account information, causing it to no longer appear on the Platform. You may also delete your account at your will from your Profile on Apollo ID. If you have any questions, please send an email with this request to hello@getapollo.in.
Following any deactivation of your account with us, we may retain your profile information and User Content for a reasonable time for archival purposes. Furthermore, we may retain and continue to use indefinitely all information (including User Content) contained in your communications to other users or posted to public or semi-public areas of our Platform after termination or deactivation of your account including messages to the venue or brandst.
8. Monitoring of Your Platform Activities
Apollo reserves the right, but we have no obligation, to monitor the User Content you post on our Platform. We reserve the right to remove any such information or material for any reason or no reason, including without limitation if, in our sole opinion, such information or material violates, or may violate, any applicable law or to protect or defend our rights or property or those of any third party. We also reserve the right to remove information from our Platform upon the request of any third party.
9. Security
We have implemented measures designed to secure your Personal Information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration and disclosure. All Personal Information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers (or those of our service providers) behind firewalls. We may store, retrieve, access and transmit your Personal Information in the US or in other countries. Any payment transactions will be performed using our third party payment processors (Apple Pay, Stripe, etc), who will use appropriate security procedures.
The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where Apollo gives you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of the Platform, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. You should not share your password with anyone. You must prevent unauthorized access to your account and Personal Information by selecting and protecting your password appropriately and limiting access to your computer or device and browser by signing off after you have finished accessing your account. The information you share in public areas may be viewed by other users.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do try to protect your Personal Information, Apollo cannot guarantee the security of your Personal Information transmitted to us or which we obtain. Any transmission of Personal Information is at your own risk. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure and other factors, may compromise the security of user information at any time. We are not responsible for your circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Platform.
10. Notices
It is our policy to provide notifications, whether such notifications are required by law or are for marketing or other business-related purposes, to you via email, written or hard copy notice or through conspicuous posting of such notice on our Platform, as determined by us in our sole discretion. Apollo reserves the right to determine the form and means of providing notifications to you, provided that you may opt out of certain means of notification as described in this Privacy Policy.
11. Other Permitted Disclosures of Your Information
We may disclose your information upon a good faith belief that such action is necessary:
To comply with our legal obligations.
To protect and defend our rights or property, or that of others.
To prevent or investigate possible violations of this Privacy Policy or other wrongdoing in connection with the Services.
To protect the personal safety of users of the Services.
To protect against legal liability.
12. Geographic Location of Your Information and Platform Users
Your information may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers and/or phones located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those from your jurisdiction.
If you are located outside the United States and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data to the United States and process it there. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information through our Services represents your agreement to that transfer. This Privacy Policy originates and is hosted on a platform/application located in the United States, which has different data protection laws from those of other nations, and particularly member states of the European Union. Due to differing laws and legal practice, you should be aware that law enforcement agencies in the United States may have access to your Personal Information.
13. Children
We do not allow persons under 18 to register for the Service, and we do not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from persons under the age of 13. If we are notified or have any other reason to believe that we have collected personal information from or about a child under the age of thirteen, we will promptly delete the information and any account associated with that information. 14. GDPR and Designated Countries Privacy Rights
This Section only applies to Users of the Platform and Services that are citizens of the European Economic Area, United Kingdom and/or Switzerland (collectively, the “Designated Countries”) at the time of data collection. We may ask you to identify which country you are located in when you use some of the Services, or we may rely on your IP address to identify which country you are located in. Where we rely only on your IP address, we cannot apply the terms of this Section to any User or Customer that masks or otherwise obfuscates their location information so as not to appear located in the Designated Countries. If any terms in this Section conflict with other terms contained in this Privacy Policy, the terms in this Section shall apply to Users and in the Designated Countries.
Apollo is a data controller with regard to any personal information collected from customers or users of its Services. A “data controller” is an entity that determines the purposes for which and the manner in which any personal information is processed. Any third parties that act as our service providers are “data processors” that handle your personal information in accordance with our instructions.
You may object to our processing at any time and as permitted by applicable law if we process your personal information on the legal basis of consent, contract or legitimate interests. We can continue to process your personal information if it is necessary for the defense of legal claims, or for any other exceptions permitted by applicable law.
If we process your personal information based on a contract with you or based on your consent, or the processing is carried out by automated means, you may request to receive your personal information in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and to have us transfer your personal information directly to another “controller”, where technically feasible, unless exercise of this right adversely affects the rights and freedoms of others.
If you believe we have infringed or violated your privacy rights, please contact us via the information provided herein so that we can work to resolve your concerns. You also have a right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority situated in a Member State of your habitual residence, place of work, or place of alleged infringement.
15. California Consumer Privacy Act of 2019 (CCPA)
The CCPA provides California residents with specific rights regarding their personal information. This section describes your CCPA rights and explains how to exercise those rights.
You have the right to request that Apollo disclose certain information to you about our collection and use of your personal information over the past 12 months. Once we receive and confirm your verifiable consumer request), we will disclose to you:
-The categories of personal information we collected about you.
-The categories of sources for the personal information we collected about you.
-Our business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling that personal information.
-The categories of third parties with whom we share that personal information.
-The specific pieces of personal information we collected about you (also called a data portability request).
-If we sold or disclosed your personal information for a business purpose, two separate lists disclosing: sales, identifying the personal information categories that each category of recipient purchased; and disclosures for a business purpose, identifying the personal information categories that each category of recipient obtained.
CCPA Deletion Request Rights
You have the right to request that we delete any of your personal information that we collected from you and retained, subject to certain exceptions. Once we receive and confirm your verifiable consumer request, we will delete (and make reasonable efforts to direct our service providers to delete) your personal information from our records, unless an exception applies.
We may deny your deletion request if retaining the information is necessary for us or our service provider(s) to:
Complete the transaction for which we collected the personal information, provide a good or service that you requested, take actions reasonably anticipated within the context of our ongoing business relationship with you, or otherwise perform our contract with you.
Detect security incidents, protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, or prosecute those responsible for such activities.
Debug products to identify and repair errors that impair existing intended functionality.
Exercise free speech, ensure the right of another consumer to exercise their free speech rights, or exercise another right provided for by law.
Comply with the California Electronic Communications Privacy Act (Cal. Penal Code § 1546 seq.).
Engage in public or peer-reviewed scientific, historical, or statistical research in the public interest that adheres to all other applicable ethics and privacy laws, when the information’s deletion may likely render impossible or seriously impair the research’s achievement, if you previously provided informed consent.
Enable solely internal uses that are reasonably aligned with consumer expectations based on your relationship with us.
Comply with a legal obligation.
Make other internal and lawful uses of that information that are compatible with the context in which you provided it.

Only you, or a person registered with the California Secretary of State that you authorize to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal information. You may also make a verifiable consumer request on behalf of your minor child.

Provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative.
Describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.
We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you.
Making a verifiable consumer request does not require you to create an account with us.
We will only use personal information provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor’s identity or authority to make the request.
16. Changes to this Privacy Policy
Apollo may modify this Privacy Policy in the future, for example, to stay up to date with changing data protection laws. If we do amend this Privacy Policy, we will undertake commercially reasonable efforts to contact you to let you know, but please also check back at the Platform from time to time. If you do not agree with any future modification to the terms of our Privacy Policy, you must immediately discontinue use of the Platform at the time of such modification. Your continued use of the Platform and/or Services after such modifications will constitute your: (a) acknowledgment of the modified Privacy Policy; and (b) agreement to abide and be bound by that updated Privacy Policy.
